  Brief Introduction of The Yearbook of Chinese Radio & TV                              
   

    Debuted in 1986, the Yearbook of Chinese Radio & TV is under the charge of the SARFT (the State Administration of Radio, Film & TV) and the CUC (the Communication University of China). ISSN 1671-7325 CN11-4069/G2.
    The Editing Committee members of the Yearbook include officials of the broadcasting regulatory institutions in almost every province in China. As an annual publication, the yearbook records objectively the situation and
transformation of China¨s broadcasting. The yearbook sticks to its editing guidelines that seeks for truth, and carries out the propaganda principles of ^Coming Close to Reality, Coming Close to Life, and Coming Close to the Public ̄. It provides updating and authoritative information for media workers, scholars, and decision maker, who are willing to understand the operations of China¨s radio and television.
    With a publishing capacity of around 1,800,000 words and 100 colorful illustrations per volume, the yearbook is printed in every October (with an electronic disk attached since 2003).

   
   A Brief Introduction To The Yearbook¨s Editing Department                            
  

    The Editing Department is subordinate to the CUC, and its main responsibility rests upon the compiling, publishing and distributing of the yearbook. There are five formal staff members in the department.

    The yearbook is managed and issued independently. Its clients include not only the various broadcasting institutions but also the individual readers. The following editions of the yearbook are still available:
